The International Society of Management Science and Engineering Management (ISMSEM) is an international academic organization established in September 2007 and registered in the United Kingdom. ISMSEM aims to provide an international platform for researchers and practitioners in management science (MS) and engineering management (EM), fostering the integrated development of these two fields.

The primary objectives of ISMSEM include:

(1) Disseminating the latest advancements in MS and EM through conferences and publications;

(2) Facilitating innovative progress in MS and EM theories, methodologies, and applications to meet the demands of the new era;

(3) Encouraging researchers and practitioners to apply innovative MS theories and methods to address contemporary EM challenges;

(4) Establishing an active academic exchange platform in MS and EM by organizing various international academic activities and editing professional publications.

The International Society of Management Science and Engineering Management (ISMSEM) has always been committed to promoting academic exchanges and development in the field of management science and engineering management globally. Every year, it meticulously prepares and hosts the highly influential "International Conference on Management Science and Engineering Management (ICMSEM)". This grand event not only builds a solid bridge for international scientific research cooperation but also provides a broad platform for showcasing cutting-edge research achievements in the field of management science and engineering management.

Since its establishment in 2007, ISMSEM has successfully held eighteen sessions of the ICMSEM. Among them, the conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in August 2024 attracted much attention. Co-hosted by ISMSEM and the University of Malaya, with its high academic standards and rich and diverse discussion contents, it attracted top scientists and senior researchers from all over the world to participate actively. It has already become an indispensable important event in the international academic calendar, effectively promoting academic exchanges and innovative development in the industry.

The highly anticipated 2025 International Conference on Management Science and Engineering Management (i.e., this session of the conference) will be grandly held from July 23rd to 26th, 2025, co-hosted by ISMSEM and the University of Lille. The conference agenda is rich, covering many aspects such as keynote speeches, technical sessions, and award ceremonies, fully demonstrating the key value of cooperation and innovation in the field of management science and engineering management. At that time, participants will conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics and share the latest research achievements and practical experiences.

According to the long-term cooperation agreement reached between ISMSEM and the internationally renowned academic publishing institution Springer, the accepted papers of each session of the ICMSEM will be carefully included in the conference proceedings and authoritatively published through Springer to ensure the extensive dissemination of research achievements. In terms of paper retrieval and inclusion, the proceedings of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ICMSEM have been successfully included in the ISTP retrieval; the proceedings of the 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 13th sessions have been included in the EI retrieval. In addition, the proceedings of the 11th and 12th ICMSEM have been submitted to EI for retrieval, and the proceedings of the 14th, 15th, and 16th sessions have also been successfully included in EI. The proceedings of the 17th and 18th ICMSEM are being actively submitted for ISTP and EI retrieval, and the proceedings of this session of the conference will also be submitted to EI for retrieval, which will further enhance the academic influence and dissemination of the conference papers.

IJMSEM prefers papers with practical background, clear problem description, innovative methods, and successful practical applications. IJMSEM is currently indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index and Scopus.
